WordPress / Elementor setup

Yes, Elementor works well with most WordPress hosting providers, including popular ones like Bluehost or Simply.com (I recommend this one). As long as you have the Elementor plugin installed on your site, you should be able to use the template seamlessly. However, keep in mind that to fully utilize my templates, you’ll also need an Elementor Pro subscription, which you can obtain here. Please check out this blog post as well How to choose the right hosting provider?.

If you’re hosting on wordpress.com, you’ll need the Business plan to upload plugins. Given the cost, you might consider alternative hosting providers like Simply.com, which offers a straightforward 1-click WordPress installer. I recommend opting for the Standard or Pro Suite. Please check out this blog post as well How to choose the right hosting provider?.

Absolutely! Watch my video below for a detailed step-by-step guide on how to install the template yourself.

All my templates are exclusively designed for use with Elementor and Elementor Pro. Without Elementor Pro the template will not function as expected. You can get Elementor Pro here.

If you’re looking to build a regular website, the Essential plan will be sufficient for your needs. However, if your aim is to create an e-commerce store, I recommend opting for the Advanced plan. The Advanced plan offers enhanced features that are specifically designed to support and optimize WooCommerce functionalities. You can get Elementor Pro here.

Template customizations are not included.

Absolutely! All colors within the template can be modified. In fact, using Elementor, you can also change fonts, graphics, photos, layouts, and virtually every other element. There are literally no boundaries to customization!

While customization is not included in the template’s price, I’d be happy to undertake it as a separate project. If you’re interested, please contact me to discuss further.

Template troubleshooting

All my templates come with the WooCommerce plugin by default. If you have the Essential plan from Elementor, you won’t have permission to utilize the WooCommerce features, as they require at least the Advanced plan. In this case, you should install the template kit named [title]-elementor-kit *W:O: WOOCOMMERCE*.zip to avoid these errors.

Couldn’t use the Kit — Please make sure, you’re importing the correct file. The name of the file should always be [title]-elementor-kit.zip.

Unable to download the Kit — This could be due to the following reasons:

  1. Ressource limits: your current package at your hosting provider might have resource limits, preventing the Kit from being downloaded. Consider upgrading to a package that offers more resources.
  2. Hosting timeouts: if the issue persists, your hosting provider might be timing out during the import. In this case, think about switching to a different hosting provider. I recommend using Simply.com and selecting the Standard Suite for a smoother experience.

Please make sure, you are uploading the template to Elementor and not accidentally to the WordPress themes section. It’s crucial to upload Elementor templates directly through the Elementor interface, rather than as a WordPress theme.

For a clear understanding of the process, please refer to the installation guide provided. It offers step-by-step instructions on how to correctly install the template.

Additionally, I’ve created a detailed YouTube video that walks you through the installation process. You can watch it here for more guidance.

This typically occurs when you don’t have the Flexbox Container feature activated, which is crucial for the template to function. To solve this issue, you need to activate this feature, remove the template Kit and reinstall it again.

To activate this feature, please do the following:

  1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Elementor > Settings > Features.
  2. Set Flexbox Container to Active.
  3. Click Save Changes.

To reinstall the template, please do the following:

  1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Elementor > Tools > Import / Export Kit.
  2. Click Remove Kit.

ATTENTION: If you’ve attempted to install the template multiple times consecutively, make sure to click the Remove Kit button repeatedly until all previous imports are completely removed. After clearing the previous installations, you can proceed with reinstalling or importing the Kit as outlined in the installation guide.

Is your website looking something like this?

No worries! This probably happened after making updates to WordPress, Elementor or another third party plugin. The best part? This is easily fixed.

  1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Elementor > Tools.
  2. Click the buttons for Regenerate CSS & Data and Sync Library.
  3. Click Save Changes.
  4. Reload your website and all should look fine again!

Verify the active theme

  1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Themes.
  2. Make sure that you have the Hello Elementor theme activated. Other non-Elementor themes might conflict with Elementor.

Check installed plugins

  1. Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins.
  2. Deactivate any plugins you don’t need or aren’t using. Some plugins can cause conflicts with Elementor, leading to unexpected theme changes.
  1. Go to the WordPress DashboardAppearance > Menus.
  2. If the Menu setting isn’t visible there, ensure you have the Hello Elementor theme activated. The Menu option may not appear unless the theme is active.

SEO optimzation

  1. In the Elementor Editor navigate to the settings menu (gear icon) in the lower left of the panel and select Yoast SEO.
  2. Click Search appearance.
  3. Go to the Meta description text box and add the text you’d like to display on Google.
  4. Click Update.

* PLEASE NOTICE *
It can take several weeks for the text to display on Google.
